If you are already in or about to enter years 10 or 11 at your school and want to know more about vehicles and how they work and equip yourself for a career in the motor industry, offshore, aerospace and marine industries or the exciting world of renewable engines then our entry level certificate for the introduction to Vehicle Technology could be the one for you.
This professional qualification covers everything from workshop safety, through tools and equipment to identifying an exciting, rewarding career path.

Course(s)
We offer a full school year course where you will work to achieve the Vehicle Technology Certificate by day release one day per week for 38 weeks. This earns you a nationally recognised qualification to kick start your career!
BUT if you can't manage the full course you can MIX & MATCH with holiday courses and short term courses to learn the aspects of our industry that most excite and interest you.
How Does it Work?
There are 3 compulsory units and then 18 further small course units.
Your ideal is probably day release for the year covering everything from Routine Vehicle and Motorcycle checks through to understanding vehicle onboard systems like ignition and battery; steering and suspension plus modern diagnostics fault finding.
